What is the Grace of God?

You have probably heard about the grace of God before. But have you consider its meaning?

Well, let start by defining what the grace of God is. The Hebrew word for grace is "Chen" and it derives from words such as : favor and kindness.

Grace in the bible refers to the freely favor that God shows to his people. Grace alone appears more than 50 times in the bible. Grace in Greece also has a beautiful meaning, and it refers to loveliness, goodwill and gratitude.

Grace is a word that has a great meaning, and the bible declares that by grace we haven been saved. We thanks God for his grace. Below are some amazing bible verses that we love to shared with you.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

The grace of God in our lives help us to overcome temptation.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

By the grace of God is that we have access to his presence and can confidently present our lives to him.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Knowing the meaning of the grace of God, will allow us to be more close to God than never before, because is God's grace that draw us closer to him.

John 1:16

For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

We encourage you to pray for God's grace to continue to be reveal in your life, so that you can know the will of God and walk with him daily.

Blessings,
